 Newspaper Reading Activity 

To foster a love for reading and keep students informed about current events, a special newspaper reading activity was conducted during the library period. The aim was to develop students’ reading habits and enhance their comprehension and critical thinking skills.

 READING DAY PLEDGE 

Reading Day is a special occasion dedicated to celebrating the joy and importance of reading. Observed annually on June 19th, it commemorates the death anniversary of P.N. Panicker, who is known as the “Father of the Library Movement” in Kerala12. This day serves as a reminder of the value of reading books, even in an era dominated by digital media.
