10-DAYS BAGLESS DAYS ACTIVITY: A HOLISTIC LEARNING EXPERIENCE
In alignment with the National
Education Policy (NEP) 2020, a 10-day bagless days activity was recently organized during autumn break for students of classes 6 to 8 from 08/10/2024 to 10/10/2024. This initiative aimed to provide
students with a break from traditional classroom learning and immerse them in
various hands-on activities, fostering holistic development.
During these days, students
engaged in a variety of enriching activities, including yoga, dance, and
carpentry. The yoga sessions were designed to promote physical well-being and
mental relaxation, helping students develop a balanced lifestyle. Dance classes
allowed students to express themselves creatively and improve their physical
fitness and coordination.
Carpentry workshops were particularly
exciting, as students learned the basics of woodworking under the guidance of
local experts. They crafted simple wooden items, gaining practical skills and
an appreciation for craftsmanship.
This initiative not only provided a
refreshing change from the usual academic routine but also helped students
discover new interests and talents. The hands-on experience and interaction
with local experts made learning enjoyable and meaningful, contributing to the
overall growth and development of the students.
