Major Dhyan Chand – The Wizard of Hockey
Major Dhyan Chand is considered India's greatest hockey player, famed for his extraordinary skill, sportsmanship, and leading the country to three Olympic hockey golds (1928, 1932, 1936). His birthday, August 29, is honored as National Sports Day in India.
